wet set ?

well.. tomorrow ima do a wet set with my hair after i relax it chemically ( it makes ur hair nicer rather then blowdrying it)... BUT ... any recs on what i can put on my wet hair b4 i put it in rollers? i know theres setting lotion, but it makes my hair kinda crunchy :/ so im looking for maybe a serum, or spray that will make my hair really soft ,shin, and silky once i take out the rollers any recs? im heading 2 sallys tomorrow 2 buy it >_> or somewhere 2 buy it lol

You know what works really well??? Pantene Relaxed & Natural Conditioning Wrap and Set Lotion. My mother says it gives her "body and luster with staying power." LOL!! She's so dramatical. (My made up word). Basically It will give you hold without being harsh on your hair and making it crunchy. I also pair this with Silk Elements pomade. I love the results. My hair is SOOO shiny and soft but the curls last a few days.

When I want my hair to have body and "swing" (I usually wear a wrapp), I use a ½ & ½ mixture of Bronner Bros. Pump It Up Foam Setting Lotion and water in a spray bottle. To combat frizzies down here in NO, I've been adding Lottabody to the mix.

Setting lotion is truly the best thing imo. When it makes your hair "crunchy" it's too concentrated. Dilute it with water and you won't have that problem anymore. I love Wrappin Tappin. I do a 3:1 dilution.(3H2O:1WT)

I'm Latina and have very wavy hair that I'd like to wear naturally more often, but haven't found anything that will hold and define my waves while keeping it shiny and bouncy. Would I perhaps benefit from a setting lotion instead of the mousses gels and other products I've used? Or would the products be too heavy? My hair's pretty thick tho...

Try pomade. I LOOOOOOVE pomade. It will give you the definition you want with a little hold. It's not heavy or sticky at all.

This stuff is awesome. I use it whenever I do roller sets or wraps at home instead of going to the salon. I have tried many brands and I think this is the best.
