Anyone tried these? Like em? Hate em? Turn your hair into hay? I would appreciate any feedback and brand recommendations if you like them. Thanks in advance!

I have one by Remington. I rarely use it tho since I have naturally some what straight hair. I used it couple times during summer but I always use it after I air dry my hair. I am afraid that it will crisp my hair and flat irons are known to do that. It takes longer time to straighten ur hair if ur starting wet.

quality wise... I like it! I looked at variety of flat irons but I think its worth what u pay for. I know there are expensive ones outthere and lotta people say those are better in quality but I am not a person to spend hundreds of dollars on flat iron.

That's what I'd be afraid of too -- that it'd damage my hair....

Does anyone regularly use it from wet (towel-dried I'd assume?) to dry?

lol..........for some reason that make me totalllly lose it, good thing im the only one in my office...

But, staying with the topic, I've never used one for the whole reason of hearing my hair sizzle...I hate the sound of it. For a dance performance a few times I had to have ringlets and the only way it would stay it tons of hairspray...So! I loaded my hair up, peice by peice and curled it witha super hot curling iron. Fried my hair, ruined my curling iron...YUCK. So it could just be my fear of that sound and the aftermath.

It doesnt sound like the greatest idea in the world, but if anyones got a good thing to say about it, lets hear it! haha...

They are specially designed to work wet hair. From what I understand, it's not like using a regular flat iron with wet hair. That would be the ultimate sizzle-fest!

I am still curious. I know T3 and I think Chi makes one. I may order it from Sephora and give it a shot. If it sounds like I am frying bacon when I do my hair, I can always return it. I'll let you know.

I have a T3 wet to dry...its nice, but I would really only reccomend it for very thick or curly hair. Or extensions (thats what I used it for). HTH!
