wetting shadows

hello everyone!

i want to try using my eyeshadows wet for that extra vibrant look. I read in the forum that some members spray their brushes with fix and then dip it in the eyeshadow pan. I was wondering wouldn't that change the consistency of the eyeshadow? you know because of dipping a wet brush in the eyshadow pan?

shall i load the colour on the brush and then spray it with fix??

please enlighten me on how to apply wet shadows/pigments!

thanks!

Ohh I second this question, I'd love to know! To use pigments wet I just wet the very end of my 242 brush and put a bit of pigment in the lid, and do it that way, but it doesnt work very well... haha. Well it does, but not great. Less fall out though.

I would do the second method with Mac. Play around with it and you will discover how much shadow you need to pack on the brush and how wet it needs to be for you. I only dip a wet brush into e/s that are formulated wet/dry, some e/s forms a crust if it gets wet.

I agree with the above. Put your shadow on the brush first, then get it wet. You could also just have a little spot in your shadow that you always use wet, if you want to get the brush wet first and then dip into your shadow. I still think the first way is the best though.
