Ok.. I have a problem with eye primers... Everything creases on me!

This is what I do- I use UDPP- blend it with my finger... if I use pigments (most of the time because I love 'em), i use shadestick first (over UDPP, up to my crease) and pigment/eye shadow over it...
It looks great... for a few hours, that is...

It starts creasing after... hmm let's say 5 hrs or so. I have oily skin (and lids probably) but come on! 5 hours?! (and that is on a good day!)
I tried paint pots, those are even worse! They start creasing and I'm not even done applying my e/s... seriously!

Help meeeeeeeee... I want my eye makeup to stay nice longer!!!
Any tricks, primers... abrakadabra/abracadabra, magic spells, techniques.. anything just help me!

Thanks!

I find, with UDPP, less is more. Start with clean fingers and eyes. Use a tiny dab (you can add more, if needed) and spread it from lash to brow. Rub it in so that it's no longer visible. Then add your Shadestick, Paint (not very much) or shadow. Hope that helps.

That's what I do.. unless my "dab" is too big lol

How long do you let it dry before applying shadestick or e/s? Or do you just rub it in and proceed to the next step?
thanks!

I usually rub it in and proceed. My lids are oily, also, but I get no creasing at all. I do notice that if I see a line of it in the crease/fold of my lids, it'll crease. So I always make sure that I spread it thin along folds.

If you have super oily lids, I would prep the eye first with a bit of blotting powder to absorb the oil, and then I'd probably go for a matte or the non-shimmery Paint, like Untitled. If that doesn't work, I'd actually try the Fluidliners as a base, I use mine as a base sometimes and they really last forever on me.

Also, don't pack on too much base, that can actually increase the wrinkling. You want a really smooth surface.

Would you recommend MAC blotting powder, or something else?

I actually really like fluidlines as a base, they last a lot longer, but there are no neutral colors, like skin color...
