What are the essential brushes for eyes?

If I were only allowed to own 1 brush, it would be the 224. It is essential for the crease, it's great for doing a wash of color and you can use it to blend as well.

One of my favourites is the 272. It serves wonderfully for just about everything! Everything from shading, creasework, to blending.

for me
213/ 239 --> applying shadow to lid
217---> blending colours and applying colour to the crease
219--->lining upper and lower lashline. could be used to define crease using dark colours
266--->applying fluidline
275--->highlight

hope this helped you

My personal essentials are:
217 - blending and basic application.
219 - great for smudging liner and applying shadow to lower lash line.
224 - imo, better blender than 222 and more versatile, also good for application.
227 - my "magic eraser", great for blending, also good for basic application.
239 - dense application of color.
242 and/or 252 - dense application of color also handy for applying paint or concealer.

Hope this helps!
