Just curious! I always see people raaaaaving abou the 187 and it just makes me think- what did you do before it existed?

Any techniques for using an ordinary foundation brush i should be aware of?

I used a cheap blush brush, lol. And before that, I used my fingers, lol.

EnKoreMakeup has a few videos on foundation application...

YouTube - EnKoreMakeup's Channel

You can type 'foundation' in the search box and it shows a few videos. HTH!

I actually just got a small(very) stippling brush from Michaels Art store. I think it was like 3 or 4 dollars and I used it for the first time today and I absolutely love it. It's a Loew-Cornell 410 stippler. I have never tried the 187 so I can't compare, but from what I have read it did the same thing. and for the price you cant beat it.

I used a cheap Sheercover brush..and couldn't wear blush. Literally, it always came out heavy and sloppy. I owe my flush to the 187.

My fingers to melt foundation in (I wear NARS foundation, you don't put it on with a brush, to make it flawless it requires the warmth of fingers) I also like fan brushes for applying blush in a gradient-and the fans are a perfect shape for my really high cheek bones. I also use the fans for highlighting. I like Botans and buffers for powder.
Instead of the 187, I have two Sephora stippling brushes. They felt like nicer quality brushes, I think Sephora's might be $5 less. If I wear another brand of foundation or want lighter powder, I use the stippling brush because it has both boar and synthetic bristles depending on how hard you bear down upon it.
