Sorry i'm not a good story teller so if you're confusing please ask me =]

I have a friend and she's very nice. But she always ask me for help when she's not really need it. This morning before going to the mall she told me she want to find a type of waterproof mascara. At the mall, we headed into a Lancome store and i asked one of the seller to show me a waterproof mascara. When she found it, i called my friend over and she said "no i don't need it". I gave the seller back the mascara tester without trying it on yet, she looks at me like i'm some type of weird chick =[. I'm very upset about that =[. My friend did this to me many times.... twice at Sephora =[. Do you guys have any recommendation for me? =[

Tell your friend to find it herself!!! Or if she asks for something again just say "well if i get it for you, are you actually going to want it still?" or just don't go shopping with her!

And don't let her bother you either! She wants your help and then changes her mind. If she says she wants to look at masara, just say you need to check out some eyeshadow and let her get her own stuff!! And if that salesperson looks at you funny, just say "ok...now she doesn't want it"...make your friend look bad!

^^I agree. maybe she was expecting to spend less $ on the makeup, or she didn't realize how much it was and got embarrassed??

I think that if she wants a product, you can go with her, but have her ask for the product herself. And as HOTasFCUK said, you can look elsewhere while shes looking for whatever she wants.

Let her do the shopping AND the asking. Maybe she doesn't know she's doing this either, so you may want to bring it up.

I agree with what the others say, but if you're interested in finding a way to break it to her, I'd joke with her about it at first like "Well it depends on what want means?" or something stupid like that. If she insists that it's something she wants, or is something she's curious about seeing, just make light of the past few situations jokingly in relationship to the current situation and tell her, "Well this time since you really want it (unlike those last times), I'll go with you while you get what you want".
Well that's how I'd do it with my friends, but maybe you guys have a different dynamic. Just work it in playfully... that's all I'm really trying to say.

maybe shes just trying to show an interest in things you like?
just a thought...sometimes friends pretend to be interested in things you like because they think youll have more of a common ground.
