what do you with broke eyeshadows?

my paridisco fell out of my make up thing and broke! it was brand new i used it 1 time!! how can i get this back together or am i screwed?

You should be able to press it back together. There's a thread on here about pressing shadows, and also if you search on You Tube.

I also broke some of my eyeshadows before. I took it all out and crushed it up in a tiny jar, then added alcohol 2 drops at a time and stir. Then add it back to your pan and press with quarter over fabric. This is the same way you press pigments. Not sure if this will work with all types of eyeshadows tho.

im gona have to try something; i didnt even use it; maybe il just press it to my palette or something, i tried depotting and i ruind everything lol im just so nervous bc i spent so much money and now its all gone bc i dropped it or i screwed up depotting

re press it! i broke my expensive pink, plumage and my coppering and i pressed it and it come back to normal.

i agree with the ladies here - repress or it or you can crush it and use it as a pigment

I have a mineralized e/s duo and was wondering if I could press that one too with alcohol?
I was thinking about taking the two colours apart, then grind them, add the alcohol and press.
I want to keep the colours seperate by using some aluminium foil with the first press, then take the foil out and press further.....
Still wondering if the e/s would still fit, because of the dome.......

Any ideas on this?

I think you might be better off, keeping the colours seperate & using it as a lose eyeshadow.

to press the eye shadow can it be any kind of fabric? and also how long does this take..i might have to wait and do it on a day off bc i work today at 3 and its 12.38

i did it!!! i pressed my eyeshadow back together it was so simple! i took alcohol and mixed it and let it sit for 2 hrs then i toook a nickle bc i didnt have a quarter and pressed it and its back in the pot =] i guess im just waiting for it to dry idk how long i have to let it dry but heyy im proud
