What does your man say about your mac addiction??

My boyfriend is a tech-freak. So he HAS to have everything that comes out tech wise. He has a widescreen larger than life plasma TV with all the HD cables. He has a Wii, Xbox360, PSP, did I mention he's a gamer freak too? He has all the games that come out and it's his collection. So he understands a lot about my makeup addiction. Plus he realizes makeup art is something I love and want to go into, so yeah... he's actually really understanding.

He thinks $100+ purses are friggin' crazy though, luckily I only have one of those. LOL.

Well, I can't really be too addicted because I can't afford it lol. when we're at the mall, I usually don't go in there unless I have to. I've only bought a few things recently, so he goes in there with me and waits for me, and he usually talks to the MA about getting a job there. I guess he's just pretty neutral about it. I don't think he realizes that if I was rich, most of my time/money would be spent at MAC.
its funny though because we went there once and I bought foundation and was going to buy a brush and the total came to 65 dollars so I said "Oh no, I'm sorry you can take that off I can't afford it right now" and he's behind me and he said "65 DOLLARS? wow"

my man dont trip..he is the one that buys the bulk of my mac cause he knows that makeup is my passion (i buy my own mac too, but he buys it for me too)..now he dont roll in there and say, "ok baby get whatever you want"..he's not that nice other wise id leave there with over $1000 worth of makeup..lol..he gives me a limit..usually up to $150..but he takes me like once or twice a month (usually just once a month

My husband doesn't like me wearing makeup (he can actually tell when I'm wearing tinted lipgloss ), so I don't really have much of an addiction, because I could never wear it.

He spends so much on videogames, though, that I think I have leverage. At least there's one area we both agree on: computer parts. He likes to buy them, and I like to install them ;D.

my man is a hunny, in fact he would have to be the best person on earth to go shopping with, when we go to the pro store he just stands back and lets me do my thang !!

when he finds out how much money i have just spent he simply replies "yes dear" as long as you are happy.....but we have a mutual agreement when i find out how much he has spent on new snap on tools i simply reply "yes dear" as long as you are happy with it, so i guess it all evens out in the end....

he is a total sweet heart and completly supportive of my addiction !!! i wouldnt have it any other way.

I don't think the poor boy has any idea. Lol. I keep all my MU in a black make-up bag that he probably just assumes is a purse, and I apply my makeup by natural light from the window in my bedroom, so it's never laying around the bathroom. He just thinks I have the stuff that I carry around in my purse with me when we spend the night somewhere; powder, mascara and a eyeliner. Lol.

I don't ask him to go shopping with me either, that's an exclusively girl activity for me. Lucky him too or he'd get a nice surprise at the $60+ price tag for a few eyeshadow and maybe a liner.

the last guy i dated wasn't a fan of makeup at all. i remember him calling one time and asking what i was doing, when i told him i was doing my makeup he said "why? makeup is lame," i disputed that naturally and he goes "well i mean like the...eye stuff is cool sometimes, but like that shit girls put all over their entire face..." i said "foundation?" he says "yeah...no thanks, brah." hahahahaha. then he told me when i picked him up at the airport if i was wearing foundation he wouldn't talk to me. i showed up in foundation, blush, bronzer and powder and he couldn't resist it.

i won that one.

That's awesome! I laughed so hard at that one.

And a little update on my husband not liking makeup. I went to a birthday party for his niece this weekend, and I noticed that his mother wore eyeliner. He now has no arguments (he was always like "my mom doesn't wear makeup, so you don't have to." Mama's boy, much?).

My hubby's such a cutie and supports me in all that I do..To tell you the truth, he was the first to get me into the Mac addiction that I now have!

I don't work at the moment because he wants me to focus and have less stress in my schooling..so he also foots my bill! *it's love I tell you!*

Well my man just DOESN'T GET IT. point blank. i try to convince him that it's just how guys are with sports or MADDEN. (omg, he can fall asleep playing that shit!) now unless you're one of those chicks that dig sports, it's like hearing chinese when your man is talking about sports. i try to explain to him that it's the same concept-he'll never understand. but he does know that MAC makes me happy, so in the end, that's all that matters. but he would and has never stopped me from getting something that i wanted. he just...*sigh*...doesn't understand how in love i am with makeup. lol.

I have an adorable .... I suppose you could call him a houseboy. He's 22, and cleans my house, and looks great in a thong while he's doing it. ; ) Anyway, he also feeds my MAC addiction. Nearly every time he comes to serve me, he brings me a brush I didn't have before, or a pigment, or whatever. It's cool.

My other man is an artist, so he too is supportive. He understands why I love MAC. He :::gets::: me.

secretly though, i think he doesn't mind. he went to 3 different MAC locations on a trip to san francisco just to make sure he got everything on the shopping list i gave him

The first time my husband bought me some MAC makeup, he was shocked about the price (because some guys just dont get it hehehe), but now its been a year since and now he's use to it and knows how in love I'am with it and knowing that I'am an aspiring MA and always trying to learn everything I can about the world of MAC and building my collection is soo important. So he doesnt mind getting some stuff for me here and there. Just last week we went to the MAC Pro store in our area and I was inquiring with one the the MA's about a few things I wanted to purchase, and while I was doing that my husband had secretly purchased a 187 brush for me and when we got home he stuck it in my brush holder so that I would notice it the next time I did my makeup! I thought it was soo sweet and he said the MA's that were helping him thought it was really sweet too! He's the greatest
