Hey Ladies, I'm new to MAC and I've recently decided I want to invest in the foundation & Powder. I live 54 miles away from the nearest MAC counter...

so there is no hope of going to play with all the different foundations. I lucked out with a supper sweet MUAer that gifted me a RAOK by picking up the samples I needed to determine which shade was right for me. I'm Between NW15 & NW20 .... No I'm wondering which type of foundation you would recommend. I typically have pretty clear skin with a few blackheads on my nose. I normally go for the natural look , but have begun to like the more "made up " look but mostly w/ neutrals... So what would you MAC vets recommend? TIA

I love MAC studio fix fluid as it creates a flawless finish but it can seem a little heavy. I also really like MAC face and body foundation for a sheer finish. I am not sure what you normally use but those are my favorites!

i use Studio Fix Fluid its medium to full coverage but you can sheer it out and use just a little and apply it with a foundation brush.
Its great mixed with strobe cream or strobe liquid too for a dewy look.

studio fix fluid
its as verstile as it can get
for sheer coverage mix with a drop of moisturiser and apply
and to buildup coverage, use by itself.

if u want only sheer coverage mac select spf15 is also very gud imo

I would opt for Select Tint with a dusting of Blot Powder pressed, if you're going for a natural no makeup look.

If you're willing to look for other brands, Giorgio Armani's Face Fabric is DA BOMB!

i use the liquid mineralize satinfinish foundation and it works great for me. it has spf 15 in it too. i used to use the studio tech foundation powder, but it really dried out my skin so i wouldn't recommend that one.

I just switched to Studio Finish Fluid after 5 years with Bare
Esentuals. I apply with a 188 brush gives a flawless finish. I was between a NW20 and a NW15 and the NW15 was more natural on me.
Lovethis stuff. Never thought I would go back to a liquid but it looks almost airbrushed. People have been even tellign me how good I look but counted put there finger on it. My secret...

Go gor it girl

studio tech applied with a 187 brush, I spritz the brush with fix + and this gives your skin an airbrushed look, light and gorgeous!
