What foundation?

Hi I've been wearing Revlon Caramel for normal to dry skin since I began wearing make up. I found with Revlon a shade lighter than my skin is usually the best. Can any of u ladies estimate what color of MAC would look best on me?

Maybe around NC40? It's really hard to tell with Revlon's site. It would also depend on what foundation you're looking at because an NC40 is different in tech, fluid, select tint etc.

Anyway, I do suggest trying to match up with your actual shade since you don't want to look ashy.

Actually, it's rather hard to "match" online based on a color of another foundation you are using or have used.

I would definitely suggest you to go to a counter and get matched (preferably during the day) and check the color against natural sunlight to see if it blends flawlessly.

Why do you mention that a shade lighter works best for you? Does foundation tend to darken as the hours pass?
