So I dropped $160 at my Dillard's MAC counter today. After she rang me up, the MUA asked if I wanted to come to an 'event'.
I about died, since I'm standing there with NO makeup on, NO eyebrows, etc. I never thought I'd get an invite to anything.
So I signed up. It's on August 20th, at 4:30pm. the postcard says:
"This season, MAC celebrates the idea of the artist in every shade and stripe...Be inspired!
Let's help you imagine your own fall beauty look...by booking you with a MAC artis! We'll be able to show you combinations of deep bodied new shades, special edition quads, bold shadows and liners, and all new pigments and glitters that are great for fall fashion."
Now, at the TIME, I thought this was an event where they had like drinks, and the new collection(s) out to look at and buy, and perhaps a goody bag or something. THIS, however, sounds like "please come in and let our makeup artist do your face". I don't want a makeover.
So I don't know whether to be excited, or disappointed, lol. Maybe the fact that I had no makeup on is why she asked me?
