What kind of eye shape I have?

I think I wasn't very explicit, as I see a lot of activity and no answer on my post. I would like to know if my eyes are hooded or not, or what shape combination they are, and maybe some links to tutorials on how to apply makeup on them.

I would say that you have deep set eyes... Most ppl with hooded eyes have folds that go low down on the actual eyelid, so that the eyeliner and mascara would imprint on the skin above. And when their eyes are open, little or no eyelid shows...

So my opinion is that yours are deep set, not hooded. I'll see if I could find a pic to demonstrate.

Edit** I found a video.

Eyeshadow Application for different eye shapes

Hope this helps

Thanks for your answer. I thought i have hooded eyes because the crease isn't visible and also the lid is a little covered, but you are right.

I'd agree that your eyes look deep set and very slightly down turned. Keep the colours on the mobile lid lighter to make you're eyes look bigger, you could do a socket eye (or cut crease depending on who you're talking to

) but do it slightly above your socket and blend up and out. Be sure to keep the brow bone highlighted and I think it would look great!

I am new to makeup world, and I want to learn how to do a proper makeup on me, not just one color on the lid and some mascara.
Any advice is welcomed.

I also think your eyes are deep set with a slight hooding. They turn down at the outer corners so you should be careful with how you line them (always make sure you line close to the lashes and upwards very slightly so you don't reach any overhang on the upper lid). Also, stay away from very light or sparkly shadows on the upper lid (under eyebrows) as these will highlight this area too much. The lighter shades of ES will work well on you on the entire eyelid -- plus you have great eyelashes!

Thanks again for the advice

. I always thought I look better with light colors on my lid, but I didn't know why until now.

I have a very similar eye shape! Kind of almond shaped, downturned, and fairly deep set. One trick I'd recommend is to lower your crease color. If I put my deepest shade where my actual bone creates a crease, it makes my eyes look too hollowed out. Slightly underneath makes all the difference! I then put a more medium shade on that boney crease.
Idk if I'm explaining that well, but you could look at my fotds and maybe see what I mean >.<

^^^ Sounds like good tips. You know, I think deep set eyes are the sexiest, lol! It sure beats hooded... At least you could see the shadows on yr eyes...
