What kind of makeup do like cheerleaders and perfromers use?!

What kind of makeup do like cheerleaders and perfromers use?!? Like the one that looks kinda cakey up close but flawless from a distance, i really want to know!!

I'm not sure about the "cakey up close" look, but I am a stage performer (Vegas & on tour all over the Country) and I use Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation or Temptu Airbrush makeup. Both over a really good makeup primer. I use the makeup primer by Arbonne, but there are lots of options out there. I think any foundation will look "cakey" if it is over applied. I don't have that look, but you can definitely tell I'm wearing a lot of makeup up close. If they are young girls and they are at competitions, I know when I did that when I was younger, no one had a clue how to do our makeup so they just piled it on. I think they used some drugstore brand foundation in a stick form. But you can get a good stage face without looking gross up close!

I think you want to avoid the cakey look. If it looks cakey, well, then they probably applied it the wrong way.

You didn't offend me at all doll! I just wanted you to understand that good stage makeup doesn't have to look cakey. If you've seen it look that way, it was probably low end products & probably over-applied. Obviously it needs to be a fuller coverage to show up flawlessly on camera and/or under stage/camera lighting and that all comes down to your foundation coverage. Pick a full coverage foundation and apply it properly and you will look fantastic and flawless!
