What lipcolors w/plum blushes

What type of lipcolors do you all like to wear when you have on a plum blush like Flirt & Tease or Plum Foolery?

I haven't found the knack quite for matching lip colour w/ cheek or eyes, but I'm guessing a l/s w/ cool tones? That's the only guideline I use. =P
