What traits or qualities make a guy stand out above all others in your experience?

For me it's really important that the guy is considerate, and that he has a great sense of humor. I like guys that are a confident, but not overly so, and that have a healthy desire to please me, it makes me want to please them even more.

Also, a good communicator is key, and someone who won't be offended, and may actually be more turned on, if I say can you try this instead of that. I want to learn how my lover works, and I want him to desire to learn what I like.

Being faithful & honest. Everything else can be worked out.

Also, its how the person makes you feel. If with the person you feel better than you are, or wanna be better.

Since you used Lover in the subject line and boyfriend as the message, I'll give my opinion on both.

I separate lovers and boyfriend/husband. To me they're different.

Both knows how to have sex, f*ck and make you feel wanted. However, a boyfriend/husband makes love to you, helps you sort out your problems, keep you focused and genuinely loves you.

someone you can trust and someone who trusts you back. he should be honest and faithful always. he should see u as the most beautiful no matter what, but it's healthy when u guys can just say "oh i think that celebrity is hot" with no jealousy. jealousy is ok as long as it's not over the top that he calls you every 5 minutes or your friends' phones when YOU dont answer. the husband used to do that when we were younger, and i never thought i'd be with someone like that, but i guess when you love someone enough, you realize that even when their bad habits drive you crazy that they'll eventually grow out of them. someone who gets along and tries to get to know ur family is a sign of a keeper. there's lots more but this is getting long.
