What makes Parrot so.....fab?

Heya
SO I hear about Parrot being so great, but wonder why it sells for so much on Ebay. Was it only produced for a short time?
I dont know anything about it. Only that its like a green color.
Anything would help!

You can probably find quite a few threads where people argue about why Parrot is or isn't great, but basically it was a color in the Liza PM quad under the name Kicky Blue, then part of the limited edition collection Salsabelle (which had LOTS of great stuff) as a single eyeshadow and then included in a 2004(?) holiday palette. It is unique in color and texture as far as MAC eyeshadows go -- it's a very rich tealy-turquoise blue with the slightest hint of warmth (gold). All other MAC blue-greens are way greener and less pigmented. It's just a beautiful shade, but lots of dupes have popped up making it seem a little silly (to me) to spend gobs on the real thing.

^ nope - i think haze,pretty twisted and judy blue are much more sought after and rare..
