What mascara do u guys use????

okay, i want to kind of make my face ALL THE WAY MAC. LOL!

primers, foundation, eyeshadow, pigments, lips: ALL MAC

eyelashes........ L'oreal's Voluminous in Blackest Black. ha!

i'm an eyelash perpetrater!!!!

i just remember when i started wearing MAC years ago i didn't like it. i even used it about 4 years ago and still didn't. i really thought it was the way i was using it that had me thinking i didn't like it but i don't have that prob with l'oreal and i never have!

which MAC mascaras do you guys think are the best ones? i'm gonna try it again to see how i like it. i think maybe my prob is that i can be heavy with mascara because with l'oreal i tend to spend a few extra minutes on the lids but with MAC maybe it's just that i don't need to do it as much as i do with l'oreal because it's thicker and the brushes are obviously different...........

mascara shouldn't be this complicated. lol!

but let me know what mascara (MAC brand) that you use and why u use it.

I'm a huge fan of Plushlash... it does everything i want it too. before that i loved mascara x, it's also really good.

Plushlash smudges on me and leaves dark circles. I am running out of my Loud Lash and it's my FAVE and HG! But also sadly, LE. So, I'm going to try the Zoomlash that everyone swears by.

since mascara's got the shortest lifespan out of all make up, i can't get myself to purchase anything but drugstore brands. (i toss all my mascaras out after 3 months)

with one's personal experiences preferences may differ but my favorites of all time are:

Maybelline Great Lash (Royal Blue) - i know blue mascara may sound tacky but i actually use this color almost every day i wear mascara. the color's not like neon blue but blue enough that people notice you're wearing a pretty shade of blue mascara. i've been using this mascara since i was in high school.

Maybelline Lash Discovery - this is a great lengthening mascara in my opinion. this mascara doesn't give that oomph that a person may want but this mascara helps me apply onto every little part of my lashes. i like natural lashes.


i've tried virtually every mascara out in the market whether it's a drugstore brand or a high-end brand..but i have yet to find my favorite volumizing mascara. but i do like lancome mascaras...but from my experience, they dry out too fast for how much i pay for them, so pass.

i think maybe that's the one i had tried because that the same thing that happened to me. my lashes are super long so i have that problem with it getting up around my brow bone anyway. i've heard zoomlash is great so maybe i'll go for that one.

ha! i can relate. i think that's why i've just stuck to l'oreal for all these years. i still love it but i've been paying 5.49 + tax for the past 10 years now, lol, so i'm good.

HOWEVER........

i do wanna try my hand at MAC again so i think i'll just go in and have someone put it on me first and see how i like it.

never tried maybelline but i assume it must be great since so many people wear it. my bestest is kind of like me also. all MAC'd out except for the lashes and she uses maybelline and i remember her using that in college (8 years ago) so it must be pretty d*mn good!!

i really like zoom lash... hasnt clumped, makes my lashes fuller and longer..
i just got the prep & prime mascara, and i put it on this morning, with zoom lash.. OMG.. BEAUTIFUL... looks more like fake eyelashes.. love it..

I've loved the Maybelline Volum'Express and Full 'n' Soft waterproof formulas and MAC doesn't come anywhere close in the non-clumping and holding-curl departments for my fine, short Asian lashes.

That said, I LOVE the Plushlash. It plumps my lashes like nothing else. It weighs down my lashes terribly tho, and primers do the same thing on me, so I use Volum'Express wtpf as a primer and get lashes like I never had before!

I used to use Diorshow, then decided I was sick of paying $23 every 3-4 months. I have since changed to MAC's PlushLash. It's pretty similar to the Dior, at least on my lashes. Doesn't smudge, or clump.

Fibrewig, because size matters!!!(lol) I used to use Diorshow, but Fibrewig is better, the lashes come out longer-infact as long as you can possibley want them (I can get them to touch my brows), and it doesn't smudge, clump, flake or run.

I'm really not a fan of MAC mascara... The only one that is SEMI decent is PlushLash and honestly, I'd never buy it again. lol...

I want to try DiorShow sooo bad... Maybe when I run out of all my samples I have of other stuff lol

Best mascara I've used which has now become my HG is Chanel's Inimitable. It doesn't clump, lasts all day and doesn't smudge. I use the waterproof version. It gives great length and separates really well.

i'm not a huge fan of mac mascaras.

i have brownette plushlash and black x...they're okay, but no better really than the drugstore stuff. i do think plushlash is alot better than x though, especially over shisiedo mascara base..yumm!

Actually L'oreal Volumous is my favorite as well. I have tried almost every mascara out there & I always come back to it.

I have never tried MAC mascaras (I heard they're pretty "mediocre" compared to their other products) but I use (AND LOOOOOVE!

) Almay's One Coat Nourishing Triple Effect mascara. The "black" is a true black, too - some black drugstore mascaras aren't very black or have an ashy look to them but this stuff doesn't. the brush is also different from most other mascaras...one side has very short bristles (almost no bristles at all!) that you use to volumize and the other side has longer bristles that you use to lengthen. I love the results I get from it! IMO the waterproof version holds curl better but maybe that's just me =)

I used zoom lash, but I hated it b/c it was so clumpy....BUT it gave me a lot of volume.

I am currently using plushlash and I'm really liking it. It's not clumpy at all (to me). I just hate the big brush it has b/c it's hard to cover all of my small lashes.

omg! i totally feel you on this one! i absolutely love l'oreal voluminous. been using it for years. i like lash extend also (that has the primer) but my heart belongs to voluminous........ i think i might start sharing it with pro lash tho. lol. a lot of people on here swear by so i might just try it.
