no one told me my blushcreme would melt! good thing i looked at it before turning it over and trying to poke it. omg. if i let it air dry will it still be the same consistency as when i first bought it?

so i guess for the people who have blushcreme's in their palette, it's because they bought it as a pro pan huh. sucks .. now my pot is all weird and broken =/

Re: what no one told me about depotting..

Sorry to hear about your blushcreme mishap! It is a cream product tho so it would melt when heat is applied like paints, paintpots, ccb's, lipsticks, etc. It's been discussed in other threads tho, so if you do a search on depotting you should find it. Lara has a great tutorial of it on her website too. I've depotted Lune, Brit Wit, Maidenchant, Hunger Red and Blossoming without melting issues.

I don't know if there's any way to salvage your current one as I've heard various attempts which all find the blush to have taken a different consistency. That was 2 years ago tho so someone may have found an answer by now.

Good luck!

Check out Enkoremakeup on youtube. He has a no heat method for depotting.

how were you able to poke it out w/o spilling it? because i would turn my e/s and other blushes upside down on a towel and push the pan out with a knife, and i was about to with the cream blush and it almost spilled! good thing i caught it or my white dining chairs would be the color of blossoming! lol.

i just let it dry and it is back to the consistency. i just put it back in the pot =/

I've also had that problem, and the product in the pan was all messed up and uneven, so i was like what the heck... I got a small plier and held the pan from end to end and swirled it around on a candle flame i never let it stay in one spot i was always swirling it on the flame, and after it became melted i popped it in the freezer for 40 seconds and it was the same consisitancy to me.

just don't flip it upside down. carefully hold the pan at eye level, and poke up from underneath instead of flipping it upside down and poking down from the top. make sense?

Use the enkore no heat method! I use it with all my blushes as I had a huge tradgedy when I first tried to depot my margin blush...it was so frosty and went everywhere, the no heat method is the only way to do it.
