The last launch party I went to and stuck around for was redredred. It was amazing. Canapés, champagne ,DJ. Super upscale. They don't do em like that anymore. More recently I've just been letting my friends that work for MAC put me down as an appointment ( the have a minimum)and then coming to buy stuff I was buying anyway. I haven't stuck around though in years. I feel like they are too commercial and kitschy for my taste these days
