What products for this asian look?

Hi!
Will this kind of "makeup" suit me?
Click on the link...
Asian Models: Han Jin Beauty Editorial for Korea Elle, October 2008
She has not as droopy eyelids on the ends like me.
I rarely see anyone with my kind of eyes.
But oh well...

I saw this picture, and I love the clean and dewy thingy she has going on there!
Can I wear that???
What products should I buy?
I don't want glittery eyeshadows. I want sheeny!!!

Of course you can pull this look off! It's all about creating the illusion of the eyeshape. It looks like she uses a dark eyeshadow like espresso mostly on the outer corner of her eyes. The trick would be to shape that corner upwards slightly with the eyeshadow to create a similar effect. HTH!

Should I use the espresso on the lover lash line too?

First off, I LOVE the makeup in those photos!

There's also likely a darker, satiny shadow that was blended along the lashline. You can achieve it pretty easily by drawing on a line of eyeliner and blending it out. You can also tell that there's a little of the dark shadow blended in the outer corner and brought out toward the end of the brow slightly.

There's also some lower lash line colour, but blended out so it looks very natural.

As for the dewy skin, you can use a foundation with some light-reflecting properties, along with a liquid highlighter (like Benefit's High Beam) along the cheekbones in a "C" shape. And don't forget about the brow highlight!

To achieve these kind of fresh dewy looks for Asian women, I feel like Koreans really have it down pat. I love Jung Saemmool's YouTube tutorials. They're not exactly the same as the link you gave us, but it will definitely flatter Asian features, and she tends to go for very dewy, fresh looks. Hopefully she'll give you some tips (although her tuts are all in Korean, but you can understand pretty well what she's doing...I don't know Korean and I do fine!) YouTube - jungsaemmool's Channel

^i personally think that anyone can wear anything, because you make the makeup work for you, not the other way around.
however if you feel uncomfortable in the colors that you're wearing, you should most likely not purchase because it's unlikely that you'll wear them.

i think engaging will look great on you, however if you have doubts, you can always ask the MA at the mac store to apply it for you to see if you like it.

Try dark browns like espresso. It's a lovely picture, looks like they relied on strong brows and a nude face to make the eyes pop more.

Hi again!

So I was in and had a look at the MACs engaging eyeshadow.
Didn't buy it, because I thought it was kinda too glittery...
Any suggestions in what other eyeshadows I could look at, so I can do this look?

I didn't have enough time to look at espresso.
But I will tomorrow!
