Hi everyone! I'm gonna go in for my first major MAC shopping experience (since it's gonna be my birthday WOOOT!). Yeah it took a lot of thought since MAC is quite expensive for me but I'm gonna do it!
I'm pretty much a mascara and lipgloss girl and I'm thinking of venturing deeper... can anyone recommend some good staples/first buys?
Here's a breif on me:
-Asian ~ NW20
-LIGHT/Golden brown eyes (i know.. its' strange, everyone asks me if I wear contacts but i dont.)
-invisible eyebrows

-black hair with brown tints
Thanks to all!

Happy upcoming birthday! Yaaaay!!!

To play up your beautiful eyes, I think Amberlights would be perfect!

......and that's all I'll suggest since I'm still a newbie in the MAC world. Have fun gettin' goodies!

I'm like you! Well, sort of. I'm only half asian, but I do have really light honey colored eyes!

Blacktrack fluidline
Woodwinked e/s (in crease or "not quite crease" as it would be for asian girls during the daytime, also a great wash of color for a nighttime look)
Black Tied e/s (Perfect black color...I find that it has a better staying power and is darker than Carbon, so works well for day and night)
Shroom e/s (perfect highlight color)
Some sort of eyeshadow base, be it paint (if you want your colors to come on more intensely), or a cream color base (if you want more blending power)

Um.....yeah those are basically my staples!

I find that tendertones don't really show up on asian skin... i tried a few of them at the store and I was able to barely tell if i have them on or not.

i think you need a versatile eyeshadow that can double up as a brow color for you. you can ask the MA for color matching your skintone. yes, get a fluidline like blacktrack and some eyeshadows like sketch, rose blanc (if you can get it, from Strange Hybrid collection).
