What's a Shadebender?

I think I asked this before in another thread but it never got answered.

I came late to the MAC party and missed this product.

I *think* it's a product that you put on over your lipstick/gloss that changes the color a little bit. I've never used one, but i'm pretty sure that's what they do. Hope that helps a little bit!

I think there is 1 shade bender that makes cool colors warmer and one shadebender that makes warm colors cooler ...I found one in a CCO but it didnt look like much to me so I passed on it I dont quite understand the purpose . Why not just buy a diff. color but hey if it sells whateva

I like mine-- I have the cooler one. For example, if you put it on Rage (comes out a red on me), it turned into a blue hued hot pink. It's awesome, but I use it sparingly because of touch up issues (as in I hate to do it).

I had both. The pink one was ok, makes stuff lighter and adds shimmer. I swapped mine. The gold one is awesome tho. Its light shimmery gold with a orange/redshimmer. Looks great over so many l/s and l/g, adds depth. Makes colors a bit warmer, and adds that shimmer which can make it more pink/redish. My fav over sharp beige.

I just got Sorcery at a CCO, and I love it - all the colors that were too blue on me now look just right.
