what's an absolute MAC must-haves for a virgin?

Believe it or not, I've only used MAC's blot, brushes, and a few lip glasses but never e/s or blush!! I used to be a Stila addict but not anymore and now wanting to branch out some. What are the absolute must-haves for me?

I have dark brown eyes/hair, NC25. I like mostly neutral colors for eyes and cheeks. I also am dying to try out the Fluidlines.

Any recs. would be greatly appreciated!!

1. brush cleaner. trust me, you wont survive without it...whether it be MAC's brush cleaner or some baby shampoo

2. a good eyeshadow base...unless your lucky enough to not have creasing and fading. i recommend the bare canvas paint, but some people use fluidlines..some people use shadesticks, some use foundation or concealer. i've heard a lot good about urban decay's primer potion, but i've never used it myself.

3. a good angle brush. mac has a ton of them. i like the 208 brush because its small enough for defined lines, but it's good for simply applying color too.

hope this helps!

I have pretty much the same coloring as you, maybe just a pinch lighter. Here are my recs based on that:
1)For neutral eyes try Mulch, Dazzlelight, Woodwinked, Naked Lunch, Hush, although I think plums would be real pretty on you. Or a green like Sumptuous Olive, which you could wear with browns.
2)Def. try Fluidlines, I love them! Graphic Brown is awesome if it's still available. Powerpoints are good too, I love Buried Treasure because it's a black but a soft black so it's not too much.
3)The 187 brush! So worth the $$$. Makes all my blushes/powders just look beautiful on.
4)I love Lustre lipsticks, they are sheerer and feel very moisturizing. I love Sweetie for a mauvey pink or Honeyflower is a pretty caramel brown.
5)I love MAC Rinse-Off Oil cleanser to remove make-up. It's not greasy or anything and I have combo/oily skin and can use it, just perfect for getting off long-wearing liners (like Fluidlines!)

Im just building my collection too,

From what I hear bare canvas paint or tan ray paint for darker skin tones is a must it makes the eyeshadows pop and stay in place.

Mixing Medium

Kohl eyeliner and Fluidlines

Cream Color Base in Shell seems to be a standard

For eyeshadows I think the must haves are
Carbon, Pompous Blue, Mulch, Tempting, Copper, Antiqued, Expensive Pink.

Pigments in warmer tones: I like chocolate brown, dark soul, vanilla

Lipglass: Spite, Enchantress, C-Thru

Second 187 brush, and also Vanilla pigment. It is awesome for just about anything: as a brow bone highlighter, as a wash, cheek highlighter, mixed with clear gloss........ I just adore it for any skin color.

I like the Fluidlines. I own Macroviolet right now, and it actually works for daily use.

I'm not crazy about their foundation, though (still looking for the perfect kind for me.)

Oh, you are going to LOVE IT! Here are some of my favorites, which I consider must haves...

1. Graphic Brown Fluidline (this is a HG for me and I email MAC often begging them to make it permanent!

)

2. Vanilla Pigment

3. I don't have many neutral shadows, but some of my favorites are Coppering, Goldmine, Steamy, Nylon (neutral), Expensive Pink (neutral), Pompous Blue, Blue Edge, Tilt

4. Lipsticks - Hue, Blonde on Blonde (LE)

5. Bountiful Plushglass - I love this stuff!

6. Dollymix blush (looks REALLY bright in the pot, but it is beautiful on!)

7. Shimpagne, Porcelain Pink, and Shooting Star Mineralize Skin Finish (these are limited edition but came out not too long ago so you might be able to find them still!) You can use them as blushes, bronzers, highlighters or all over powder. I love them too!
