OK I understand the difference between the ProLash and the ZoomLash! But I dont see the difference between the Mascara X (and N?) and the Fibre Rich Lash!

I would also love to know the differences. I've never purchased MAC mascara and so I'm unfamiliar with the different types. :?:

I don't see a visible difference either when testing out various ones. But would still love to see what other people think the difference is.

i find them all pretty much the same, except maybe for fiber rich lash. i find it has a much thicker texture. that and the brush is way more different than the other mascaras, I love the mascara wand, but I dont really like the mascara. I use the mascaras only because i get 40% off, but im not in love with any of them. there are better mascaras out there. So I guess to answer your question, they're all pretty much the same!

I have only X and N, the difference i see, is N is more natural not as dramatic and is buildable but not to the extent X is. It's minor unless you realy try and see it, but there's more color building and volume with X, and natural-well not natural, but more than X, which is N hope this made sense? ...hehe

Mascara N stands for Mascara Natural. Enhances lashes with natural-looking glossy color and separation.

Mascara X stands for Mascara Extra/Extreme. It builds color and volume. This is a thickening mascara.

There was also Mascara S for Sheer. It gave a sheer hint of color, similar to lash tints, which added a slight natural looking definition without the appearance of mascara.

Fiber Rich Lash utilizes small fiber particles to enhance the length of the lash by adding material on to the lash. This can cause clumping if not used with a lash comb, and is something to be cautious with if you are a contact lens wearer.

Hello - just a layman's opinion but I found the Zoom Lash (which I was very excited about) to be very smudgy - got it everywhere except on my lashes!

The best tip I've ever been given by an MA was to use Mascara X first and then Pro Long Lash next. Works like a charm! I find Mascara X is a nice daytime/base mascara but doesn't give a lot of length or thickness. The Pro Longlash adds length and thickness without clumping or smudging.

All in my humble opinion of course!
