What's Your Best Make Up Tip

One of my best tips would have to be to make sure everything dries well before moving onto the next step for example wait for moisturizer to dry before applying primer wait for primer to dry before applying foundation wait for foundation to dry before applying powder. Allowing products to dry makes the end result smoother and more flawless. I know I usually get impatient and end up caking everything on while still damp..not pretty. I make it a point now to let it dry well.
One more tip I want to include because I feel it is often neglected is to take a damp cloth after you have finished your makeup and wipe all the hair close to your hairline that could have accidentally got covered in foundation or loose powder. I can spot beige colored hairs a mile away LOL.

The best tip I've heard and the one I use the most is to only apply foundation where you need it. If you only have redness or some breakouts in a certain area, why cover up your skin with a mask? Since I've been putting my foundation (or sometimes just concealer) where I need it, I get more compliments on my skin, my breakouts go away faster and my skin looks healthier.

For me, when it comes to blush, less is more. I always tend to over-apply, so I try to remember that I can always add more, but it is near impossible to removed.

And I remember reading in a magazine years ago that to cover broken skin or troublesome blemishes it helps to pat and roll your finger with concealer on it over the spot.

Also, I comb out my lashes before I apply mascara because sometimes my liquid liner, liquid shadow or primer will get on the lashes making them stick together and ultimately look very clumpy.
