I use Select Tint, but my mom liked it a lot, except for the coverage, so I mixed her some Hyper Real with a little bit of moisturizer

I only use one type of foundation, but sometimes will mix some Revlon Skinlights, or other shimmery powder for a little glow

I love mixing Face and Body Bronze Fx with the Mineralize Satinfinish.
Also, Studio Tech in NC + Select Sheer Pressed in NW, to take away that "HELLO I AM YELLOW!" look.
Face and Body Foundation is another one that can be mixed with anything. Studio Fix Fluid is versatile as well, but it can look too thick if t's not done properly.

My favorite mixture is Studio Fix Fluid NC45, NC50, a dab of NW45 (plus a wee bit of Face and Body FX in Golden if it's summer ;-).

Sometimes when I am in a rush, I mix my Select Tint with Prep and Prime Face so it stays put all day!

I use Studio Fix Fluid in NW20 or 25 depending on how light I am in winter, etc. Sometimes I mix the 2. I always top it off with Loose Blot in Med/Dark, sometimes adding a little Peach Set Powder to it. If I have a blemish i cover that with the pot concealer in NW25, or I'll use Select Moisturecover under my eyes in NW20 before hand.

my tip for perfecting my face comes courtesy of Bobbi Brown in an issue of More magazine a few years ago.

never mind using primers.... the way to get the "flawless" look is to rub liquid foundation into your skin with your fingers, getting it right into your pores. i've been doing this ever since i read that article - maybe 5 years ago.

i have a LOT of broken capillaries and this really helps give me amazing looking skin.

I use studio fix fluid in NC15 with a little bit of Maybelline's pure makeup in light 1 and a tiny sprinkle of MUFE's neutral shine on powder. I set it with NYC translucent loose powder and it looks flawless.

I like to mix Face & Body foundation with a bit of matte texture, but you have to really whip it up so it can become a nice buttery/mousse texture, i find it adds more coverage to Face & Body.

If i want to have a better coverage with a bit of 'dewyness' i usually mix my Studio Fix Fluid with some Mineralize Satinfinish. Sometimes on customers if they want a full coverage with a dewy finish i put a TINY bit of gloss texture on the higher planes of the face and really blend it into the skin, followed by either Studio Fix Fluid or Studio Tech for a less matte appearance to the skin.

Lightful or Oil Control Lotion Moisturizers.
Prep + Prime Face Protect, then Prep + Prime Skin.
Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 in NW15.
Select Cover-Up in NC20.
Studio Fix Powder in NW20.
Flawless. :3

My Mom is an NW20 year round, I vary from NW20 in the winter to NW25-30 in the summer. She didn't care for the Select SPF very well, which I liked, I gave her my Select Moistureblend that was toooo moist for me.
So, I mixed her NW20 w/my NW25 in one of the little MAC jars until I get juuuust the perfect color. Couldn't have gotten a better match!

Mineralized Satinfinish has become my new favorite foundation. Mixing one of those hated glimmershimmers with the foundation makes it go on even smoother then it already does not to mention your skin glows! I've been complimented so much when I do this. I even went to a PRO class and one of our senoir artist was dieing to know what foundation I had on.

Amen, sister! I love Mineralized Satinfinish! I mix NW20 with NW25 to get the right shade, then I add either: Astral Rays Glimmer Shimmer, Fashion Pack Glimmer Shimmer or LORAC's Luminizer in Gold. It all depends on how "tan" I am (I use self tanner). It looks amazing. You glow!

I top it off with MSF natural if needed. That and some Shimpagne on the cheek bones and Fix+. I can't complain, I have good skin. At 36 years old this combo give me the most flawless looking skin I have ever had.

i love mineralize satinfinish as well, but with the lower coverage it provides I can't use it on bad skin days.

at the moment my foundation recipe for most days is simple: MSF natural in light with select sheer loose powder in NW15 buffed in on top. the liquids come out when i need more makeup on - for going out and the like.

I apply Studio Fix NC 30 all over face, apply some C40 on the outer edges of my face and then buff MSFN in Med Dark into the hallows of my face for some quick contouring. I add some Star! or Belightful IRPP and Blend blend with a 182!

I use Mineralize Satinfinish in NC15, then dust on Studio Fix in NW15 to neutralize the color.

I love how it looks when it's warmed between my fingers, it blends effortlessy! Even heavier coverage foundations look so much more natural if you do this with them first.

not really, but I do use a sponge for my moistureblend and spray it with Fix+ before swiping it in the foundation so I get that "dewy" look.
