When is basic training? Gratis?

Hey everyone I am going to be working at a new MAC store opening on Santa Monica CA in the end of November. I was wondering when Basic training is scehduled and how many times a year. I was wondering if there are any this month or any time soon. Does anyone know that works in this region? Also if anyone can explain gratis? Oh yeah, I heard that MAC offers pro classes for employees to get certified in fashion shows, bridal make up, etc? Is this true?

Although I don't work at MAC I can tell you how the Basic schedule works for alot of counter lines as well as gratis.

Basic is every 3 months for Estee Lauder so whenever the next basic seminar occurs, you will be signed up for that one to attend.

Gratis varies by interval and amount, but I recieve as a full time BA at EL $300 every four months to spend. I have the option of doing it online or over the phone.

The next Basic in NY is the first week of November (getting ready for Holiday, so I'm sure for the same reason, your's will be soon too)

As far as gratis go....there is EMS or whatever it's called-which is what Ieatbugs mentioned. You get a certain dollar amount to spend on MAC stuff when you're hired & then every few months.
And then there is gratis....you get a few products from every new line that comes out. You can check the Update book & figure out what is going to be in the gratis (there is usually a "Look 1" & a "look 2" you will get one of them)
