Where do I put Mac eyeshadow colours?

Hi Everyone,

I am just about to start making up my first mac 15 palette with mostly nuetrals and browns, eg arena, expensive pink, embark, all that glitters, beauty marked, mulch, antiqued and deep truth, however, I don't know which ones are lid, crease or highlighters, I also don't know what colours go with each other, please help!! NW45 as a reference.

It doesn't matter. Some people prefer certain shades for a certain area of the eye, but really; they can be used however you like.

Usually, I like the light colours on the lid, the darker in the crease, and maybe along the lash line to add some smokiness. Sometimes I would wear only a light colour on the lid or sometimes just a dark colour on the lid for extra smokiness.
