which eye brush should i get first ?!

well im trying not 2 spend 2 much on makeup.. so my next trip 2 mac im only gonna get 1 brush.. i just cant decide which one i should go for... the 239 the 217 or the 219 ... ive been looking at them over and over and i just cant pick

any recs or opinions on which one u would pick... i know the 219 is more of an e/l brush , but still i reeeeealy want it 2 >_>lol thanks

I think all three are great brushes and are essential for any collection! I love the 217 brush it is one of my favorites in between the three I would pick that one. The 239 is also very useful when it comes to application of the shadow it picks up and applies color so well. The 217 picks up lots of color so remember you dont have to dip in too much! This brush is a great blending brush and its soo necessary. I hope that helps! Another good brush is the 224 but I would get these three before this one.

The 219 is the pencil brush. I use it for lining the bottom lashes, but I use it as a guide for drawing my shadow in my crease ( for smokey looks). It is my HG item!!

Do you already have a brush to blend your eyeshadow? If not, then the choice is easy: 217.

See, I like the 219? It's fun? But, not something I'd call necessary. It's definitely more of a novelty/specialty type brush than a BASIC. It sounds like you need some basics, so the 217 is the better choice.

I have all three of those and I definitely pick up the 217 the most. It's great for blending. I would get the 217 first!

I only recently got my first brushes and I got the 239 and the 217. I didn't bother with the eyeliner brush because I wouldn't use it.

I use the 239 for applying the highlight and a wash all over the lids, and I use the 217 to blend, and also for the outer corner and the crease.

I have one 219 and two 217. lol
The 217 is great! I also use it for applying under eye concealer.

The 217 for sure! It's my favourite - you can use it for almost everything!

#217 also works VERY well for applying concealer around the whole eye, and for applying the perfect amount of paint to your lid.

#217's a winner for sure.
