Which MAC Blush??

I don't know if this should be in the FAQ thread or not, but which MAC blush texture do you prefer? I'm darker toned and i usually don't use it (I usually use a bronzer on cheeks, in particular the Bare Minerals one) but i'm venturing into the more healthier-hued. Pressed powder? Blush Creme? Cream Colour Base? See-Thru? Eeek! TIA

If you're looking for a healthy flush, then definetely go for blushcremes. They blend very naturally into the skin! My favourite is Lilicent

They last much much longer too.

I have oily skin and I don't think mattes and sheertones last very long on me. Satins are better, but my favourite by far have to be blushcremes!

I love the sheertone blushes. I am so pale that I cannot get the blushcremes to blend in very well on me. Although I love Sweet William in the pot it looks too glittery on me. I also love Brit Wit in the blushcremes but I cannot get it to look natural on me.

I love the blushcremes. I've got Ladyblush which looks scarily pink in the pot but blends to a really natural finish. They do add a bit of a glowy shine though.

I have combo skin and I prefer the powders or an MSF. My fave MAC blush combo is Pinch o' Peach with Shy Angel over it as a highlighter. Or I like to just use Shimpagne MSF all over.

If you have oily/combo skin with larger pores, a matte powder blush is going to be most flattering on your skin. If you have drier skin, you can get away with any texture blush. My favorite MAC blushes are Shy Angel, Fleur Power, Peaches and Pink Swoon.

I love the blushcremes as well. My fave is Cherche. This colour is amazing. It looks so dull in the pot, but I love it on.

As far as powder blush, I prefer the sheertone shimmer or sheertone. I usually use a combo of :

Slight Contour: Either Cherche, Bronzer or Taupe
Cheek Colour: Usually an MSF or a sheertone shimmer
Highlight: Light wash of Shimpagne MSF

i love blushcremes (thanks lara). I have blossoming and sweet william. i'm pale (NC15), but i can still get them to look natural on me. you only need the tiniest bit.

for powder blushes, i love sheertones and i am just starting to get into sheertone shimmers. my powder blush collection is tenderling (natural, fairly neutral), peaches and dollymix. i also have a cheapy natio blush in peach glow.
