I want to buy a few new eyeshadows. I am looking for neutrals in particular. Here are a few I am considering: Soba, Quarry, Club. Please recommend which ones I should get! Here are the ones I have:

Vex
Silver Ring
Black Tied
Knight Divine
Sketch
Shale
Haux
Mulch
Twinks
Tempting
Satin Taupe
Nylon
Phloof
Naked Lunch
Mink and Sable
Yogurt
Vanilla Pigment

I personally am a fan of Soba, I have it. It's a really nice base color that can be blended with a lot of shades.

Also, since you have a few frosted/shimmery colors I suggest Shroom as another good neutral color

It's got a bit of a shimmer to it, but it's really nice. I use it a lot for highlighting and just blending.

I like Soba and Quarry. I don't have Club, so I can't speak for it. It looks nice though.

My suggestions:
Bronze
Woodwinked
All That Glitters
Espresso
Antiqued
Ricepaper
Dazzlelight
Brule

I heart neutrals too.

God no. I am NC 20 and I wear it on the lid. It looks great in the crease too.

Hmm...I think it's really pretty, but I am NC30/cool toned with light olive skin and I thought Amber Lights was really pretty but I thought it would be too orange on my skin...what do you wear it with?

With my NC30, light olive complexion, am I too light to wear Soba as a base or would it work?

Cranberry looks nice on the outer lid, same with Espresso. I bet Satin Taupe would look dreamy too...

I think it would be perfect. Like I said, I'm NC20 and I wore it on the lid last week. It is darker then my lid color, but not too drastic. I think it would look amazing on NC30

Moopoint, thanks so much! I think it will be one of the next colors I buy! By the way, have you used Shale and/or Quarry? I have Shale and am trying to decide whether to buy Quarry (they look pretty similar in the pot).

I have both! Shale is much darker, and much richer in color. I prefer it actually. Quarry is nice in the crease, but I'd turn to Shale first for a lid color.

I'm happy to help!

Anytime my dear! I have a ridiculous, almost obsessive love for makeup.

I should really insure my makeup bag....

Haha...I know what you mean. I am on a first-name basis with all the MAC MAs. I spend far too much on makeup (especially eyeshadow), but it makes me happy so I guess it can't be that bad!

That is exactly how I justify it! If it makes me so happy, it can't be wrong. It helps when you love what you have.

True!

Btw, Woodwinked is one of my very favorites to wear if you are looking for neutrals.
