So I've been looking at the MAC Mixing Mediums because I want to buy one so I can mix my pigments and eyeshadows to get a more vibrant, longer lasting color. The problem I'm running into is which one to buy, I've never used a mixing medium before. I've watched quite a few tutorials and read a few blogs, and it seems like the two that are working best are the Gel Based Mixing Medium and the Face and Body Mixing Medium (NOT the alcohol based one).
However, then as I was looking into the gel based one I kept seeing people say that it wasn't meant to be used on around the eyes, and then the face and body one looks like it's tinted (but then in one tutorial I watched it appeared to be a milky white?).
So my question is which one of the mixing mediums is best for eye make up? I will probably also use it with my foundation so I don't want to get the matte, shine, or eyeliner one.
Then if the face and body mixing medium is best, I'm still confused as to weather or not it's tinted or just the milky white color.
