Which MSF would work best on an NC40? Shooting Star, Global Glow, New Vegas?>

It depends on what you want to use it for. If you want a glowy/bronzy look then definately global glow. If you want a glittery sheen then go for new vegas.

When i had a massive tan NC42ish global glow hardly showed up on me, it was mainly a golden highlight color with minimal shimmer.

Global Glow is a gorgeous golden bronze color with gold pearl, its lighter than shooting star. (I loved it) --I think you should go with this color

Shooting Star is pretty dark i think you need to apply it with a light hand. Its a very dark golden brown.

Personally my favorite mac MSF bronzer is So Ceylon

i'm NC45/C7. I've been searching (in vain) for MSF Shooting Star. I'm pretty near to giving up. Can anybody recommend a dupe product? Preferrably from MAC. The website recommended "Copper Sparkle Pigment" But booooooy its brassy!

I am NC40 myself and If you want to wear MSF like a blush, then Petticoat/light flush/brunette/blonde MSF looks excellent on NC 40 skin tone.As for highlight, new vegas/soft and gentle will look pretty.I use so ceylon to contour ONLY coz I am not into bronzing/tanning...HTH
