Which red l/s would you recommend as a classic, Marilyn, Hollywood red?

I prefer matte. Thanks.

my fave classic red is MAC's Russian Red, which is a really intense blue red color with a matte finish

Ruby Woo. "Cherries in the Snow" red, ultra matte, super for a fifties look. I heard they're phasing it out though so you may want to call around.

Revlon Cherries in the Snow.
This isn't as matte as either Russian Red or Ruby Woo... but it's a formulation that's been around since Revlon was established.
