I really like this collection... A Lot!

Well, there is a story to go with my haul this morning!

I woke up bright and early to go to my local freestanding store to pick up some or maybe ALL of the N/Collection.

I get there and HELLO dissapointment... They only had like a quarter of the collection, which I had plenty of empties to purchase all of the eye shadows... Smut replaced Dark Edge and Satin Taupe replaced Remotely Gray... They only had like one of the lipsticks... ugh.

The MUA told me that the colors online were working/sample names and that the colors they had were repromotes.

So I ended up getting:
Nanogold
Modest Tone
Neutral Pink
Rich Flesh
Plink! (which was the replacement for 3N)
& Light Flush (Can we say LOVE!!!)

So like aforementioned I left dissapointed...

I went to Nordstroms who also has a MAC counter and what do I find...

THE WHOLE ENTIRE N/COLLECTION!!!!

So I picked up Remotely Gray (which I thought looked nothing like Satin Taupe...) and 2N Lipstick (Again, LOVE!!!)

Warmed MSF was WAY too dark... It's alot darker then Shooting Star and Global Glow... And I thought that Dark Edge looked really, really close to Saturnal from Moonbathe.

But I guess the best part is that everything except Light Flush and Remotely Gray were B2M.... So I only spent about $40... AND I still have empties!!!!

Wow all that for only $40?!? Nice!

Sucks that you had to go through all that trouble with the first counter.

I agree, I compared them and they are definitely different.

I'm an NC35...

I don't know, though the MSF's are super pretty, i'd probably opt for MAC's bronzing powder over Warmed MSF.

Shooting Star is about the darkest I could probably go with out looking silly... I had brought it with me to compare and Warmed was darker and redder.... It just wouldn't be a good mix for me.

I love Light Flush... But then again I love all the Pink-y MSF's...

They serve totally different purpose. Warmed will be good as bronzer for your color, Light flush... maybe just soft pinkish high light.

I Picked Up Warmed And I Also Have Shooting Star And Warmed Is Lighter Than Shooting Star Maybe More Gold. Light Flush Just Reminds Me Of The Other Pinkie Msf. There All Nice.

Ok so yesterday I ended up getting both MSF's Warmed and Light Flush. I love Warmed, it gives me this iridescent "warm" glow. However, Light Flush is very pretty when I did a swatch, but it looked almost metalic-y on my face. It also made my pores look huge. I don't know if this was because I used it over my new Sue Devitt foundation or what. I might end up returning the Light Flush, even though I don't want to.

I just hauled yesterday as well. I'll post mine when i can take pics. But I'm NC35/C4 and I ended up opting for warmed over light flush. I agree with summer6310. I liked warmed as a bronzer/something to take day to night with. I can see Light Flush as a highlight, but for me it was just too metallic baby pink for it to work on my "golden toned" skin. I think it's all personal preference and what you are looking to use it for. Though I have to say, it was so pretty in the pan that my mind is still trying to figure out a way to justify getting it anyway. I'm just worried I'll never use it :p
