why do people dislike honey lust?

I think people dislike lustres because they don't use them how they're intended to be used. Every texture is formulated the way it is for a certain reason. Lustres aren't really meant to be packed on. When they are, if a mixing medium of some sort isn't used, they get flakey and look gross because they're not as finely milled as say veluxe pearls - which is what gives them the glittery finish - rather than frosty. They're meant to be applied with a soft brush for a sheer application. However, like I said, with any emollient based product, they can be packed on and look lovely!

honey lust is a really nice color, it's just that a lot of girls have had bad experiences with lustre formulas, with the exception for a few, such as idol eyes.

Thats interesting that you said that. Cuz personally I like all lustres except for Idol Eyes. Mythology is a beautiful color especially. && Retrospeck can look pretty when you use it to highlight your brow bone. But this is just me.
