why do they advertise for certain eye colors?

it would probably still look good on you but the colors are more 'geared' to making blue eyes 'pop'.

There are certain eye shadows that compliment certain eye colors. But the best thing about having brown eyes we are very versatile so mostly any color will go well with us.

you can still wear the shades in the palette even if they weren't meant for your eye color - it's just that the shadows in the blue eyes palette are designed to make blue eyes "pop"...and the same thing goes for the other eye colors.

Personally, I dont believe in gimics like this, I think they are geared more for the woman, that cant be bothered trying different things, nobody is supposed to wear just one color because their eyes are a certain color, colors are there for you to have fun with ! you can basically wear anything, its just a matter of making it work for you!

I totally agree. There is a lot more to work with out there.
