Why do we keep waiting?

I know my mentality is, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." That's not always good, but I guess life gets in the way. I'm sorry you are dealing with this & hope that everything turns out fine! Take care!

Oh my goodness! I hope it's benign. It it sad that all we need to prevent many ailments is to just treat your body right. I am really bad about this and I am waiting for my time when it will catch up with me. My boyfriend always says "an ounce of prevention is better than finding a cure".... thank you for reminding me to take care of myself.

I hope we hear a positive update on this issue soon.

I hope things turn out well.

And as for why we wait? A lot of people think "It happens to other people" or "It's such a crapshot anyway" or "Who cares?" or a bunch of other things. This applies to anything really. We're either deep down optimists or naive as anything.

A friend of mine had his apartment broken into last week. He had no renter's insurance. Not for financial reasons but because he didn't think it was necessary. The robber stole a lot of expensive things. This is just another example of people not really thinking it out

Because people never think it will happen to them until it does. Life happens to other people but never them lol. It's crazy.

I hope it's nothing serious anyway and you get better.

I wonder this same thing about my weight. We hear all of the time about these huge ephifinies (sp?) that people have and how they turned their life around and I always wonder when this will happen for me. I am not extremely overweight but I am concerned for my general health and what this will do to me down the line if I don't get it taken care of now. I know that I just need to decided that I am going to put myself first and just start exercising and eating better. It is easy to just ignore the problem until something big happens to force a change.
