Why does Kitten get so much love?

So I have never tried Stila, but I hear about Kitten so much and am intrigued... I have a chance to swap for one, but am nervous to stray from my beloved MAC (especially since I'd be swapping a MAC LE shadow for it). So why does Kitten get so much love? What is it about it that is so darn special? Are any MAC colors similar so I can get an idea for the exact shade?

It's a pretty champagne-pink shade, but it is uber frosty on me. I swapped mine away. I prefer MAC Naked Lunch, it's a similiar color but not as frosty.
