When I saw my mom while wearing this, she immediately started complimenting it and asking if I had taken pictures of it. Of course I did, mom! I pretty much always take pictures of my makeup! And I'm glad I took them right away... Because a couple of hours later one of my eyes watered a ton and while wiping that, I wiped off a good chunk of eyeshadow along the outer edge of one eye. Blah! Oh well, at least I was able to capture it first.

Gorgeous as always! I'm curious as to how you get that defined edge at the outer corner of your eye. Do you place tape there as some folks do?

Sometimes I use tape, but not often. I do my eye makeup first, and then face makeup. So after I've applied my eyeshadow and liner, I usually take a makeup wipe and put it over my index finger, and using my nail underneath, wipe a straight edge from the corner of my eye outward. I feel like I get the lines a bit more even that way than when I use tape, for some reason.

Ugh, don't you just hate it when your eyes start watering when you wear something really nice? I was wearing some purple, red, and pink look. I was doing it for a tutorial and leaving after, so it's not like I could just take it off and try to slap something else on. Had to wear that out and heck, I didn't mind! But ugh, my right eye started watering on my way to places and it was taking eyeshadow off the lashline. :( It's noticeable too since it's such bold eyeshadow! Fortunately, my bangs cover my right eye so I could make it... not as noticeable for a little while.

Okay, enough about that. I love your eyeshadow. :) I want to try doing my eye makeup first, then my face makeup but I'm always afraid that's gonna make my foundation look funny. /oddball

Thanks :)

I think another benefit of going face makeup first is that if you get any fallout, you don't have to worry about it messing up your face makeup... You can just wipe it up and do your face makeup when you're all done. Plus, I put on my face primer before doing my eye makeup, so while I'm doing my eyeshadow and stuff, it gives my primer time to start working and do its thang.
