why is it that whenever I am about to do something to my hair (dye it or cut it or something) it ends up looking super great the week before and leads me to want to cancel appointments with the hairdresser or return my hairdye boxes...

My hair is looking great today and I am getting it cut on friday...although I dont think it will change much cuz I am really only getting more layers and bangs...

this always happens to me. I make a hair appointment when I think my hair is at its worst (length-wise), and then it looks perfect the night before i get it done. It's a curse, I must have done something terribly wrong in a past life

That is so true. I have always said my hair has a personality. It knows when those scissors are coming. It knows when I need to look special, so it falls flat on me to tick me off.

That too! Like I will practice a hair style and it will look great but then on the actual day of the party or banquet or whatever I try the hairstyle and it won't cooperate...its like my hair says "okay, I am going to make you look like shit today."
