Will MAC create more Paint Pots?

I am fairly new to MAC, and the last release of Paint Pots that I remember was with the Fafi collection. Is there any way of finding out if they will do it again? Is it something that they only do every few collections, every few years, etc? Thanks! I tried to search for a discussion about this so, I'm sorry if it's been mentioned before!

Try emailing Mac.
Also.. if you're close to a CCO you may find some from old collections.
Estee Lauder also came out with products like paint pots so you can go to your local department store and check them out.

As far as we know from collection leaks there aren't going to be any new paint pots this year, but there may be some next year. It is kind of random when they release new paint pots. Just check here on Specktra for collection updates!

What I'd like to see is more Paints over new paint pots! Unfortunately looks like those are being phased out... I'd like to see more new bright colours though in the paint pots!

Agreed! I love Cash Flow and Greenstroke. MAC paint pots are better than Benefit's cream shadows IMO, but Benefit wins color selection big time.

Thanks for posting this. I've been wondering the same thing. I LOVE the 2 paint pots I have (blackground and delft) and I really wish they'd come out with more. Especially ones with brighter colors. I've seen ones from the Mcqueen collection and they beautiful! I wish they'd come out with ones like that again.

yes hopefully they will bring out some new ones next year. we think perky is being re-realeased though which will be good! but i want some super bright colours!

Phasing out?! Wth?? Why does MAC do this to us. Why can't they just improve. For instance, a lot of the colors they have are within the same range and their missing basic everyday colors i.e. grey! How about a pink or green one? Idk how some of these colors make it to perm but the ones that would be staple colors don't. They definitely need to bring back the grey one! I'm so bummed I missed out on that one.

Ive satisfied my new paintpot craving by getting Estee Lauder's shadow creme's, earlier this year they had a sweet lavender colour. It was friggin awesome!

i have both nice vice from MAC (fafi) and Vintage Violet from Estee Lauder and they are pretty dang close.

I've bought 4 so far, and they are fricking identical to mac paintpots in texture, moreso than benefit creaseless shadows (though those are also a weakness for me).

I really wish they would come out with more paint pots as well. SO far I only have five and I want more. There's something about paint pots and shadesticks that just really gets me excites . . . I guess I'm just silly that way.

Gigglegirl is right about the Estee Lauder ones - I have three of those and they're pretty good.

I am really surprised that Mac has not expanded their line of paint pots especially considering so many other companies are jumping on the cream shadow wagon. They need to release some more interesting shades and finishes like... yesterday! I love the paint pots I own but there is always room for more. Lets hope that there are some new ones on the horizon for next year >_<

I secretly wish that MAC will somehow, someday, re-release Pharaoh paint pot (because I was not into MAC when it was released). I know there are dupes for it, but I want the original :[

Of course I am fairly certain that will never happen. But I can dream.

I really love paint pots. I wish MAC had more colors available. I wouldn't put it pass them to phase paint pots out - I extended my 'base' to include shadesticks.

Paint pots are honestly one of my favorite MAC products. I'm with everyone else, they should extend the color selection though!

I love paint pots too. My problem is I tend to reach for the same ones everytime even though I have tons. My fave is Groundwork

I live for PP and wish they would do more. I always use Painterly but wish there was more "matte-like" PPs. Bare Study and Rubenesque are great colors, but I dont care for the finish of it has much as Painterlys
