Woke up at 5:30 am for this!

HI everyone,

So i made a trip down to the States yesterday [I live in Vancouver/Burnaby] and in order to avoid the heavy traffic, everyone got up at 5:30 and we left the house at 6:00am.

We made it to SEATTLE PREMIUM OUTLET in 1:30 hours! That must be a record! Since we were so early, we hopped down to Walmart for a bit of everyday shopping

I have that camera , I got it 2 years ago for my first mothers day ... It was a lot more expensive back then but was worth it .... I love it and I hope you do as much I do... The only think I don't care for is the time it takes to flash b/4 the pic is taken ...=/

YEY fellow Vacouverette!
If you can avoid that crazy traffic lineup, I would definitely recommend you go, if you've never been there. However, on most Saturdays by 8:00am... there's usually a 2hr line up at Peach-arch/Pacific crossing which really sucks.

Overall, I dont think the it's worth to go JUST for the CCO but if have a day to wander around, there's ALOT Of other stores

So far [after some initial testing] I'm really enjoying the camera... but I can't seem to get the focus right [esp. for taking FOTD]... it's either focused on the wrong spot, or it's totally unfocused. Maybe I am just dumb and dont know how to use it.. but heck its PINK

I have the same exact camera in silver! I LOVE IT! I've had it for about a year and a half and it has not only held up great, but it takes AMAZING pictures!

I believe you need a new battery my dear! I have the same camera and this happened to me about a year ago. NO matter how long I charged the battery, I was getting a weird lag with the flash and the shutter. Turns out, my battery was a dud! Try replacing it completely.

Trust me, it's a good CCO since it's the only one in the general area...but yeah the border crossing SUCKS. (my uncle is a border guard, so I can't be too mean...) If you go to the one by Abbotsford (the one that's east a bit), you can save a lot of time. That, or go on the weekdays.

Enjoy your stuff though! I was kinda thinking about getting one of those Novel Twist palettes.
