Ok so I am finally going to apply at MAC, and I have been working on my resume. I have two years of retail experience - but the problem is that I worked mainly in the stock room. Aside from that, I have no idea what to include on my resume. I pretty much have the generic resume which includes education info, work experience, volunteer experience, and honors I recently received. The only makeup Ive done is makeup on some friends and family, which Im unsure if I should include in the resume or not. Should I include an objective? Also, should I write a cover letter, and if so what should I include in it? Ughhh I'm soo confused! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would definatly include an objective to show your passion for makeup. You really want to let them know that even though you don't have any formal experience that you are passionate about it. Also you should probably include doing your friends makeup. Maybe put it in the hobbies section. As far as a cover letter I think they are pointless but some people look for that. I guess it's more professional.
