Worth it to work at MAC?

I am waiting for a reply from MAC on whether I got the job or not.
However, to work there I would have to quite my current job. I am in university right now, and I do not want to have anything intefere with me doing well. This is where my current job is so great because they are SO flexible with my school schedule.
But I also want to work at MAC very badly. But if MAC does not work out, I'd be either screwing up school or out of a job all together if I leave.
Any suggestions. Plus I can't keep my current job if I work at MAC because it's in the cosmetics industry as well.

It depends on the position you applied for. I think they are an awesome company to work for, and it seems that they are pretty flexible with people's schedules, but that probably also depends on the manager. Also, if you do freelance, it is very flexible, but if you are a perm. employee, I am pretty sure you are required to work Saturdays, but that probably won't interfere with your school. I left my former job in the cosmetics industry for MAC and I am very happy that I did. I am much happier, and taken better care of than at my last job. Plus, it is just more fun! Good luck with whatever you decide!

Ask you employer that you've got now if you can come back if MAC doesn't work out how you'd like (like say 2-3 weeks)... if you've been an awesome employee, they shouldn't mind and will be glad to help you out... HTH!

dont hand your notice in until you know for a fact if you have the jobs and what hours you will be willing to work, if its not flexible enough you can decline it and atleast you'll still have another job
