Would wearing Blot Powder ruin the affect of Strobe Cream?

I like the matte look so use Blot Powder alot but obviously i don't want to look dead and don't want my matte look to look dated so i always try to the matte but glow from within kind of look if you know what i mean?
I'm already using Fix + but i prefer to use that mixed with my Studio Tech for easy application and then top with Blot Powder.
So do you guys think wearing Strobe Cream, then Studio Tech, then Blot Powder would mean the strobe cream's effect wouldn't really be noticeable? I don't think my counter will give a sample of it so i can't experiment.

I think that the strobe cream gives the glowy look because of shiny particles, and I don't think that the blot powder will undo that. perhaps the studiotech is too thick, and perhaps you cannot see the strobe cream's effect because of the studiofix?

well i don't have strobe cream, but i have layered powder over similar products before. usually the shimmer particles will show through (less so for the microfine ones) but i find they lose their gleam, and defeats the purpose of a dewy cream highlighter. You might have better luck acheiving the look you want with the Skinfinishes - esp in Shimpagne. It's a powder and will blend well over your Blot Powder - if used SPARINGLY it would give a gorgeous real skin gleam, and maintain your matte look. hths!

Yeh i think i should go with the Skinfinish instead, i just can't really think much about them as i havn't seen them or touched them in person so have no idea how i'd get on with them. Hope they've arrived at my counter when i go or havn't run out when i go!

They're a powder? Really? Looking at pics of them i always assumed they were like a hard cream type texture.

I'd be surprised if your counter refused to give you a sample of Strobe Cream. I know other M·A·C outlets in the UK do give samples of Strobe Cream so you can always ask.

look at my pics in my gallery - I think they're pretty accurate...they're a really soft powder...
