WWYD? Since LURE is selling out...

Ok, I am returning Haunting since it does not show up on me AT ALL

And I have 6 empties I can return AND I can use them on Lure lippies. I am low on cash til this time next week, and there are still a few things I want to get from Lure. I am hoping things won't have sold out by then.

I LOVE Delphic fluidline, and thought of returning Haunting and getting a backup while I can. OR I can get something else off on my want list since I already have Delphic.

So, should I get a backup of Delphic, or should I get Phosphorelle lipglass? And should I get Lure or Stroke of lust lipstick with my empties? I want pretty please, but I can get that at anytime since it is in the permanent collecion. I tend to wear lighter colors on my lips, so I was thinking Stroke of Lust, but I love Glaze lipsticks, so I want Lure too. Which do you think will sell out first?

For reference, I am NW20, blonde hair and blue eyes...

I didn't think you could use B2M's for the Lure lipsticks, due to their special packaging...

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with either of the lipsticks or Phosphorelle l/g. I got Lure and it is pretty but absolutely nothing special. Stroke of Lust - same thing.

Have you ever used up a fluidline? I use black nearly every day and I have barely put a dent into it.

Think of the pigments coming out and save your money

I had heard that some counters allow it, so I called my freestanding store and they said no, but then I called my Nordstroms counter and they said I could... I was really surprised, but VERY excited! LOL!

I have never used a fluidline up, so that's why I don't know if I need a back up. But, I have been using Delphic as a base as well as a liner. I guess I could always use Sea Me shadestick if I run out, and Aqualine is similar, although I prefer fluidlines over liquidlasts. Hmmm, maybe I could just get another color fluidline - one I don't have instead.

Good thinking! I've had Blacktrack since the fluidlines first came out last year and there is a ton left. I've been using Delphic as a base, too, but you really only need a dab of it since it is so creamy & blendable.

I'm just trying to save your wallet a bit

if you really like the fluidlines that much, save the $$ b/c nordies anniversary collection is supposed to have some very impressive ones, you can get one of those instead

I got both Lure and Stroke of Lust, and I like Lure much much better. Stroke of Lust barely shows up on me and it's just a sheer cool frosty pink. Nothing special. But Lure is SO gorgeous. It may not be the most unique color but I certainly don't have anything like it (I usually stick with warm lip colors).

My Nordstrom and MAC store won't do Back2MAC for the lipsticks. If you have Delphic and are low on cash get something you don't have. You won't use up Delphic before they come out with something else you love.

I honestly never buy backups.. because by the time its out, I want 10 other things.. so unless you have money to burn i'd just save it or buy something else.

I totally was going to say the same thing! There is always something new I want so backups are never really something I even think of doing!!

I was able to B2M for Stroke of Lust & Goddess. I think the only times where they don't allow it are for the Viva Glam and Icon series.

agreed - I rarely ever use makeup up because there is always something new and more exciting. The only backup I own is Fashionably Fuchsia l/s because I know I will use it up. I say go for something you don't have.

i went to the store excited and saw they had every thing from the lure collection... i tried it on and i wasnt impressed at all.... i got 1 lip glass.... thats about it.....not worth it dont rush out

I wasn't really that impressed with the collection overall. I thought I'd be blown away but it was more like a gentle breeze.

LOL! That made me giggle!

I ended up getting non-conformist fluidline instead. I wanted a purple, but a more vibrant one. I also picked up Greenplay LLL (my first one) and I LOVE IT!!

Oh, and I looked at the Lure lippies again, and wasn't all that thrilled, so I used my B2M empties for Hue l/s and I LOVE IT! Everyone needs this in their collection!
