Youngblood mineral makeup

Finally, I found a store in Victoria that carries mineral makeup. The line is called Youngblood and they are out of California. Has anyone here tried the line? Is it comperable to Bare Escentuals? I would love to hear opinions on this before I buy some. Tia

I use their loose mineral powder and I love it, it doesn't make me break out like BE does. I use Cool Beige, one of the lightest colors. For application I use a latex sponge, just dip it lightly in the loose powder, stiple it on, then swipe lightly to blend. I can't get the hang of using a kabuki brush and if I do it seems to make my pores look huge, so I much prefer a sponge, but YMMV. I use the YB followed by a floof of Px Magic powder and I have perfect, flawless looking skin.

I was at a wedding a few years ago and a plastic surgeon complimented me on my "beautiful glowing skin" (I'm 47 BTW). I thought, jeez, it's just makeup, but I didn't tell him that, lol.

Oops, I meant to add...my husband and I visited Victoria several years ago and it's beautiful. You're lucky to live in such a lovely town.

Thanks so much! I really liked the look of it, but I didn't want to spend money on it if it wasn't any good. I will definitely try some on payday. OT, but Victoria is beautiful and I love it here. My husband's job requires him to be transfered at some point and I am really going to miss Victoria when we go

I ordered some free samples from everyday minerals the other day, but I must say, I did buy the Youngblood minerals and they are really super nice. I use a mixture of youngblood and bare escentuals right now, but can't wait to try the everyday minerals. Thanks for the tip

Pugmommy referred me to Everyday Minerals after I found out that I was allergic to the bismuth oxychloride in Bare Minerals. I must say, it works just like Bare Minerals and even better! (in my case especially since Bare Minerals made me break out and stung my face). They have a matte foundation and the normal one. And since Everyday Minerals is so much cheaper than Bare Minerals, I got to use the extra money to buy different shades of blushes! (siesta is my fav on me). I've even referred it to my boyfriend's mother who used to use Bare Minerals too.

But, there is one downside. The Everyday Minerals jar is really cheap and sometimes hard to screw on.

But yeah, that's my only grievance. I put the everyday minerals in my Bare Minerals jar. And something like this might be a good investment:
