Your favorite and most disliked eyeshadow finishes

I can find lots of threads about which MAC eyeshadow finishes are your favorite. But I would like to hear both which one is your favorite and which one do you dislike the most?

For me personally my favorite is Veluxe Pearl. Smooth and blends like a dream. On the other hand my dislikes are a tie between velvet and lustre. Velvet is so deceiving, it goes on vey light and you can never get a proper colou payoff. And lustres are just flaky and a big mess to work with.

What about you guys?

Veluxe pearls are my favorite, along with Starflash.

Least favorite is, like you, Lustres and Velvets. But I've found ways to make them workable, they just take a bit more finesse than the other finishes.

My favorites are veluxe pearls and satins. The only finish that I can't stand are lustres. They make me want to bash my head against the wall because there is no color pay off, they are chunky and glitter gets everywhere.

Yes, I prefer the Veluxe Pearls too. I also like the matte2's as they are very pigmented. Mac keep giving them the triangle of death, don't know why though.

i love veluxe pearl finish! so smooth and the payoff is awesome!

not a fan of lustres though because they have poor payoff and tend to be messy to work with

i enjoy the veluxe pearls the most too. they're just lovely... smooth to apply and the perfect amount of shimmer. frosts usually have great payoff too. some of the matte colors can be a bit chalky, but i love the matte2s.

Veluxe Pearl, Frost, some Satin and Matte2 are my favorite finishes since they have great color payoff, very easy to blend and very pigmented. Sometimes Velvet, Matte and Lustre finishes can have poor color payoff and at times you want the color to show up on you.

Matte makes my eyes feel dry. I don't think I own any Matte2.

I love MAC's frosts. I find them very easy to work with. I like satins and mattes/matte2 as well.

I don't like the lustres. I just don't understand what the point of them is. Some of the mineralized shadows are pretty crappy as well.
